The Tridonic PACK-LiFePO4 3.0Ah 2 CON is a rechargeable lithium iron phosphate battery pack designed for compatible Tridonic emergency-lighting control gear.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING

This battery must be installed by a competent person and connected only to approved Tridonic emergency-lighting equipment.

Secure the enclosure within the luminaire or approved installation space. Keep it away from excessive heat, moisture, sharp edges and components that could damage the enclosure or connecting cable.

New LiFePO4 batteries may require two or three complete charge-and-discharge cycles to reach their full rated capacity. Each activation cycle should include:

1. A complete 24-hour charge


2. A full emergency-duration discharge


3. A further complete recharge

If the first duration test is unsuccessful, recharge the battery for another 24 hours and repeat the test.

Avoid excessive cycling during building installation. The battery should remain disconnected until a stable, continuous mains supply is available.
