Introducing the Dimmable Hydrus 5ft Single LED 24w Non-corrosive Fitting - CCT (Part number: 500022-DD), the most advanced Dimmable Switch Dimming & DALI/DALI-2 Dimmable 5ft Single LED IP65 Batten Fitting available that redefines the way you illuminate and control your space.

The primary feature is its Push Dimming (also known as Switch Dimming or Push-to-make Dimming) and DALI Dimming functionality, depending on your lighting requirements. This is the most versatile 5ft Single IP65 LED Batten on the market.

Switch Dimming, also referred to as Push Dimming, whereby you control a smaller series of LED Battens or a single Batten with a retractive dimmer switch. A single push turns the Batten(s) on/off like a normal lighting fitting, but has the ability to dim the lighting levels via the same switch when held down. These are usually a spring-loaded switch that returns to the centre when released. They can also be referred to as a momentary switch.

Just make sure you install a Switch Dim/Push Dim 'retractive' dimmable switch if this is your chosen setup. You also need to be aware that the driver needs a permanent live, switched live (from the retractive switch), earth and neutral. Therefore, requires more wires than a standard fitting. Please note: Mains TRIAC dimmers will NOT work with this light fitting. 

DALI, which stands for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface is a 2-way communications protocol which allows you to communicate and control components in an advanced lighting system. This Dimmable Hydrus 5ft Single LED 24w Non-corrosive Fitting 3-CCT can also be used in advanced DALI lighting systems as well as Switch Dim setups. This batten is manufactured using a Helvar LL80HE-DA-100-800 Dimmable LED Driver which delivers this unique flexibility to operate both dimming functionality.

Manual Dali Dimming, These 5ft LED IP65 Battens can also be controlled manually via a Dali dimmer switch such as the Ledvance Dali MCU Dimmer (see related products). This is usually the simplest solution for most setups when you want to control 25 fittings or less from a single switch manually.

Orders in stock placed before 4:00 PM Monday – Thursday (3:30 PM Friday) will be dispatched the same day and delivered within 1-3 working days (Monday – Friday *excluding weekends). All orders are tracked and insured, covering any unlikely loss or damage. Orders are packaged and dispatched from our warehouse facility in Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. 

Collection: 

You may collect your goods from our trade counter located at Unit B8, Astra Business Park, Parkside Lane, Leeds LS11 5SZ, but please make sure to add a note at checkout saying you’re collecting your order. Someone in our customer support team will advise on your collection date and time. Please Do Not turn up without confirmation of a date and time. Collections will be temporarily paused from 24/12/2025 until 02/01/2026.

Please note: Items on backorder will be sent out as soon as the stock is available. Orders placed after 3:30 PM on Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. Orders placed on Bank holidays will be processed as normal, but dispatch will be the next working day. Deliveries over Christmas after 24/12/2025 may take a few working days longer to arrive.
