The Tridonic EMconverterLED BASIC 202A MH/LiFePO4 250V is a self-contained emergency lighting converter designed for integration into LED luminaires. During a mains failure, it switches the designated LED module to battery-powered emergency operation.
The converter supports one or more LED modules with a combined forward voltage between 50 and 250 V. It provides a typical emergency output power of 2.3 W, while the constant-power output automatically adjusts the emergency LED current according to the connected LED load and approved battery configuration.
A duration link allows the installer to configure the unit for either 1-hour or 3-hour emergency operation. The converter is supplied with the link fitted in the 3-hour position; removing the link selects 1-hour operation. The duration must be configured before connecting the battery and mains supply.
Three-pole switching technology provides two-pole LED-module changeover together with delayed mains switching for the associated LED driver. The unit is compatible with most dimmable and non-dimmable constant-current LED drivers, subject to the electrical limits stated in the Tridonic datasheet.
Its electronic charging system automatically recognises approved NiMH or LiFePO4 battery technology. Integrated safeguards include deep-discharge protection, a short-circuit-proof battery connection, reverse-polarity protection and automatic output shutdown if the LED load falls outside the permitted operating range.
The slim 179 × 30 × 21 mm polycarbonate enclosure is designed for installation inside a suitable luminaire. An optional Tridonic strain-relief enclosure is available where the converter is to be used independently outside a luminaire.

Collection:
You may collect your goods from our trade counter located at Unit B8, Astra Business Park, Parkside Lane, Leeds LS11 5SZ, but please make sure to add a note at checkout saying you’re collecting your order. If your order is under £40.00+VAT, please call and place your order over the phone to remove the shipping charge. Someone in our customer support team will advise on your collection date and time. Please make sure you have a time confirmation before travelling.
Please note: Items on backorder will be sent out as soon as the stock is available. Orders placed after 3:30 PM on Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. Orders placed on Bank holidays will be processed as normal, but dispatch will be the next working day.
